In Service Support Capabilities
Patlon’s In Service Support (ISS) system is a complete turn-key solution for calibration, repair and maintenance of CBRN detection equipment. This is a combination of Patlon’s calibration capabilities and a tracking system database designed for managing and monitoring of calibration and repair status, inventory levels and identifying equipment location. Through Patlon’s ISS system we effectively remove the burden from the end-user of shipping, tracking, calibrating repairing their inventory.
The advantage offered by Patlon’s ISS system is that calibrated sensitive equipment inventory is always maintained and replaced prior to its calibration expiry date, in order to eliminate in-field shortage of calibrated equipment and avoid usage of instruments that are out of calibration.
Patlon’s ISS system currently tracks over 18,000 items with 15 different part numbers in 120 locations across Canada and the United States . Our ISS services are currently utilized by various government departments and agencies, including the Ottawa Fire Department, Canada Customs, and the Department of National Defence.
For our customers, the tracking system is accessible through a secure internet connection, offering their authorized staff real time access to the status of equipment indicating for instance whether it is in transit, in repair or is being serviced, from anywhere with an internet connection.
Four major areas that our ISS system is currently tracking for our customers are:
- Biological Detection
- Chemical Detection
- Nuclear Detection
- Radiological Detection
An additional advantage of Patlon’s ISS system is that it can be completely customized to accommodate the customer’s specific needs. The system has the capability to manage any item, from hand tools, calibration equipment, scales, and measuring equipment to aircraft parts and virtually any item that requires ISS management.
