Electrical Units Assembly and Custom Manufacturing Capabilities

Over the years, Patlon’s Repair and Overhaul group has enhanced its offerings by adding more capabilities in the manufacturing, testing and development of electrical components.

Patlon has the expertise and the equipment to manufacture small quantities of high quality products and custom build them to customers’ specifications. Through collaboration between Patlon’s electronic Principals, Patlon’s sales team and development staff, as well as Patlon’s skilled technicians, we have been able to design and build solutions for military and commercial vehicle lighting and electrical needs, among many other applications. In addition to having all the necessary tools for the electrical manufacturing, Patlon also has a welding facility and paint booth which adds to its capabilities for custom manufacturing of electrical boxes and components to meet our customers’ needs.

Some of the specialized tooling utilized at Patlon are:

• High-speed wire processing equipment
• Hi temperature nitrogen heat guns
• Vacuum tank for testing waterproof enclosures and lights
• Various adjustable power supplies
• Soldering, measuring and test equipment
• Digital wire labeller and marking systems
• Load banks

Some of the projects completed by Patlon include:

• Manufacturing of transformer boxes for trailers to operate on 12 or 24 volts
• Booster boxes for battery compartments with input voltage recognition
• Wiring harnesses for forklifts and shifter controls
• Time delay relay testing and modification
• Test jigs for electric shifters and harnesses
